Your bespoke journey begins with a complimentary consultation with Laura (the owner and sole creator of your custom-made piece), either in person at her Melbourne/Naarm based studio or via video link.
This is an opportunity to explore your ideas, gemstone preferences, design inspirations, engraving and any personal elements you would like to weave into your piece.
Not sure where to start? That’s totally fine! With more that 20 years experince, Laura will guide you through the process with her extensive expertise in materials, craftsmanship, and design. After your consultation, Laura will send a detailed summary of your ideas along with tailored gemstone options. She has a curated selection of personally chosen precious stones, including track and traceable diamonds and Australian sapphires—each one ethically sourced, hand-cut, and completely unique.
If we don’t have exactly what you are looking for, Laura can recommend some of the world’s finest lapidarists (gem cutter) where we will source a stunning gemstone that perfectly aligns with your vision. You can also view a small selection of Australian sapphires available in the studio here.
Once all the parameters have been confirmed, you will be sent an invoice requesting a 50% deposit. This then moves your ring into the design phase of creation.
Once your gemstone is selected, Laura will create a detailed sketch of your design for your approval.
This is an opportunity to fine tune the last details and make sure all the parameters are exactly right.
Throughout the process, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, refine details, and ensure the design feels just right before moving forward.

You will receive a stamped and signed copy of the illustration on high quality paper when you collect the ring.
Once your design is finalised, Laura brings it to life in her Melbourne/Naarm based studio.
Each ring is meticulously handcrafted with care and precision. Laura takes a huge amount of pride in her work and each ring is created with the wearer in mind. No detail is left unrefined or unfinished. Her training in Germany taught her that calm concentration is key in this part of the process.
This typically takes around 4-6 weeks from this point, after which your piece will be ready for collection or Laura can arrange for secure couriered shipping.
