This pendant was custom made in sterling silver by Laura as a private commission from Jeanine.

It was handmade from 100% reclaimed/recycled sterling silver. For further information on why it is important that we use reclaimed/recycled silver click here.

It was a sunny day when Jeanine and I met over coffee at Industry Beans in Fitzroy. It was the start of a new chapter in her life, she told me. Things were changing for her in a good way and she wanted to mark the moment with a special pendant. I did some sketches and we chatted about the design before settling on a book. Shiny and new, but also full of history with the occasional dog-earred page. A pendant in its own right but also a small sculpture to be hung on the wall.

Customer Testimonials

“I met with Laura to discuss commissioning a custom made sterling silver headpiece for my wedding. Everything in the shops seems so mass produced and I wanted something truly special. Laura asked all the right questions and created exactly what I wanted. She kept me informed the whole way. The end result was so beautiful, more than I could have ever imagined!”

Kate Masterson

“Laura was attentive and really listened to what I wanted. She is very friendly and easy to deal with, communicating through the process with sketches, test models and the finer details. I would highly recommend Laura for any jewellery with a personal touch. It makes it all the better knowing its made from reclaimed silver!”

Bronwyn Withers

“I have commissioned Laura to design and create several pieces for me and my expectations have been exceeded every time. Her passion for both the origins of materials and commitment to telling a story is in itself shear artistry.”
