Custom made bespoke pieces are on the go!

I’ve been finishing up a number of exciting new pieces for special clients who wanted something a little bit special.

Like this piece for Michelle’s sister. met Michelle at the Makers Market @themelbournecollective_ at Fed. Square. She was wandering past, looking at my display when she stopped. “Oh, my sister would LOOOVE that!” she said, pointing down at Lizzy’s Snowflake Pendant. “I’m searching for something a bit special for my younger sister’s birthday. It’s going to be her 40th in a few months and want to get her something she can treasure for years to come.” she continued. “Perhaps I could engrave something special for you on the back” I suggested.

Michelle and her sister grew up in the tiny town of St. Ives in Cornwall, England, so she suggested an engraving of the word ‘Hweryd’ – this translates to mean ‘sisters’ in Cornish and holds a special meaning for the two of them.
Such a genuinely thoughtful gift between to sisters! ?

This pendant is made with 100% recycled sterling silver and has a brushed matt finish.

Wedding Band Request

Thanks for your interest in a custom-made ring. Creating a special ring is a really lovely process and one we absolutely love!

To help us guide you on what design/materials might work best for you (& your partner), please take a moment to fill in as many of the questions below:

Please note, the earliest a custom piece can be completed is a 12-week period. If you require your piece sooner, a rush fee may apply. Whether an earlier completion date can be accommodated will be discussed with Laura during your meeting.

Ring 1 Details

Have a look through the Archive and list 1–3 pieces you’re drawn to, so I can get a sense of your desired aesthetic.

E.g. 18ct yellow gold, platinum, etc. No worries if you're unsure at this stage.

Please note, custom wedding bands start from $3,200 (per band), and creating a custom piece is a complex and detailed process.

All of my custom pieces come with:

  • Sustainability at the core — made with 100% reclaimed pure gold or platinum.
  • Illustrations and working images of the piece's development and creation.
  • Hallmarking with the carat of gold or silver and my maker's mark (Gold & Silversmiths Guild of Australia member).
  • A signed and stamped certificate of authentication stating materials, maker and date created.
