Aaron came to Laura knowing exactly what he wanted — not just a ring, but a reflection of everything he and Carol have built together. Two people from Bangalore, both rooted in the world of tech and project management, who somehow found each other in Melbourne and discovered that some things just fit. They know who they are, what they want, and what matters. This ring is all of that, made tangible.
Hand-carved in 18-carat classic yellow gold from 100% recycled and refined material, the design carries an antique warmth and timeless character that felt true to Carol from the very beginning. The colour palette was drawn from the world they share; deep teals, rich greens, warm whites and the glow of yellow gold, unified into something that feels cohesive and considered rather than collected.
The stones are set with fine milgrain detail, a nod to the antique aesthetic that inspired the design, and positioned at the top of the ring where they catch the light without competing with the elegant simplicity of the band. The shank itself has a square profile with softly rounded edges, polished to a high finish that brings out the full warmth of the yellow gold.
But the detail that makes this ring truly theirs sits on the outside of the band, where two intertwined fishing hooks are hand-carved into the gold, a tribute to Aaron's love of fishing, and to the way the two of them found each other and held on.
Congratulations, Aaron and Carol, on your formal engagement and the wedding ahead. Here's to a lifetime of small details that mean everything.
