Patrick is a plumber. Lucy is a surgical nurse who has recently discovered pottery. Together they have built a house, raised three little girls — Billy, Lola and Daisy, aged one and a half, three and five — and carved out a life on Phillip Island with the beach at their doorstep and six years of love holding it all together.
Hand-carved in 14-carat classic yellow gold from 100% recycled and refined material, the ring is fine, wearable and quietly timeless — designed to sit comfortably alongside a life that is full and busy and wonderfully real. The band features an elongated facet finish that catches the light with every movement, with a soft polish and a half-round profile shaped for everyday wear. A small edge detail allows space for a wedding band to sit flush alongside it in the future.
At the top of the ring sits a beautiful 1.1ct freeform cut Australian sapphire from The Rush, Queensland, cut by The Stone Alchemist in WA. Its silky, organic form and palette of greens, blues and yellows make it feel like something pulled straight from the natural world — held in place by Laura's signature organic claw settings.
And tucked inside the band, a surprise Patrick kept just for Lucy — two bees with three hearts between them. One for each of their girls.
Congratulations, Patrick and Lucy.
