Inspired by Maddie’s love for animals and nature, as well as the pieces they discovered while viewing Laura's rings at the Finders Keepers market, they sought a timeless design with a unique, handmade touch. Their bespoke engagement ring subtly and beautifully incorporates these elements into its design.
As this was a surprise proposal, Finn took charge of the design process, contacting and working with Laura alone to bring Maddie’s dream ring to life. Finn selected this beautiful 1.5ct green/yellow Australian parti sapphire as the central stone, which was unheated and ethically hand-mined in Central Queensland.
The centre stone is flanked by two C4 Argyle Australian champagne diamonds, adding warmth and sparkle that pairs beautifully with the yellow gold and green parti sapphire. Laura engraved delicate native leaves on either side of the diamonds to add a personal touch, reflecting Maddie’s love for the natural world.
Finn also decided on a hidden special detail for the inside of the band: hand engraved dog paw prints, symbolising Maddie’s affection for animals.
