A Special Ring from Tyrone to Amy — and from Amy to Tyrone

Some couples arrive with a brief. Tyrone and Amy arrived with a life, and what a life it is. Two social workers from Geelong who have chosen, every single day, to show up for the people who need it most. Tyrone works with troubled kids and makes art. Amy works in family violence, finds joy in colour and burlesque, and chases waterfalls. In July, Tyrone left for Gaza to volunteer. These are not ordinary people, and this was never going to be an ordinary ring.

Amy's Ring

Hand-carved in 18-carat classic yellow gold from 100% recycled and refined material, Amy's ring is built around the natural world she loves. Vines rise organically from the band to cradle the setting, holding a collection of Australian sapphires and diamonds in greens, yellows, blues and warm earthy tones, a colour palette drawn from the bush, the water and the light. Leaf and vine embellishments wind through the design, making the ring feel less like something worn and more like something grown.

Inside the band, their shared words are engraved in Elvish script: To be the light above our darkest seas. A sentence that means something different depending on the day, and everything all at once.

Tyrone's Ring

Simple, considered and entirely handmade. Tyrone's 18-carat yellow gold band has a soft half-round profile and a high polish finish that speaks to his clean, classic aesthetic, but the personal details are all there for those who look closely. Inside, the same words: To be the light above our darkest seas. And alongside them, a single leaf borrowed from Amy's ring, laser engraved in black, a small, permanent connection between the two pieces.

Together, these rings tell the story of two people who chose each other with their eyes wide open — who know exactly how hard the world can be, and decided to face it side by side anyway.

Congratulations, Tyrone and Amy. Here's to the light.
