Emilia and Mike flew down to Melbourne from Sydney specifically to meet Laura and design their special ring. The consultation process was started online, but the couple decided to build a long weekend getaway around their appointment with Laura – I mean why not!? The stones and their arrangement were carefully chosen by the couple, and they were delighted when they found the perfect play of light in the cut, colour and carat of these Australian sapphires.
Each Australian sapphire has a different cut, and the organic form setting showcases this by varying the height and angle of each stone. The stones are set into a 100% recycled and refined 14-carat rose gold band. You can find out more about the importance of using recycled materials here.
This ring came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
