When Laura sat down with Simon and Erika to speak about the design for their engagement ring, it was clear that this was to be a symbolic piece. Each with two children of their own, this wedding was a celebration of them coming together, and this is what the ring needed to represent.
A 1.73 carat Sapphire with an ocean of dreamy colours sits proudly nestled between four brilliant-cut coloured diamonds. Each diamond is a different colour, all individually unique and represents their children.
The stones are set on a stage of 18 carat rose gold. The bi-colour Sapphire, sourced from the Rubyvale area in Queensland is an unheated, free form facet.
The ring was handmade by Laura using 100% recycled 18 carat rose gold. All stones are certified ethically sourced.
Laura packages all her bespoke rings with their own special care instructions and packages them up in a handmade wooden box made by the New Zealand company GIVE. This company make beautiful bespoke wooded jewellery boxes for Coral Covey with care, quality and workmanship that are made from sustainable forest woods.
