Laura crafted this custom piece for the lovely couple, Sam and Georgie. After Georgie discovered Laura’s work on Instagram and shared it with Sam, he did some sleuthing and arranged a secret proposal.
Georgie had shared her dream ring ideas with Sam, so when it was time to design her ring, he knew the stunning freeform cut Australian parti sapphire Laura had sourced was the perfect choice for her.
With the ideal stone selected, Laura set to work on this piece, so Sam could propose before their move overseas. Made from 100% recycled and refined rose gold, it features a freeform cut Australian sapphire and two Australian champagne diamonds. The gemstones were beautifully set in Laura’s signature flat-spot style, with the central stone held in place by organic claws and the diamonds grain set.

This ring came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
