Although not Melbourne locals, Simon and Elise made the journey from interstate for an appointment with Laura to discuss a wedding band for Simon. Elise already had an antique wedding band but still wanted something special to match with Simon for the big day. Simon’s ring features interconnected native leaf engravings folded over each other, with a boxwood blossom engraved on the inside of the band. Elise chose a set of earrings in keeping with the theme of Australian native flora that features eucalyptus leaves. The Australian bush is important to the couple, and they wanted to represent this in their jewellery pieces on their special day.
Simon’s ring is made from 100% recycled and refined 18-carat classic yellow gold, while Elise’s earrings are made from 100% recycled and refined sterling silver, featuring a unique staggered oxidisation treatment of the surface to create the varying layers and depths of colour. Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
