Symbol of Eternal Flight Rings

18-carat white gold with three Australian Sapphires, and 14-carat yellow gold

This is a bespoke item. If you would like something similar please contact Laura.

Timeless and classic forms for eternity.

When Laura first met Jackie she could see she had a lovely energy, full of laughter and good fun. Jackie is a designer, so when Laura set about handcrafting this ring for her, she had her beautiful handmade prints and endless enthusiasm foremost in her mind.

Jackie’s ring has a classic form, but there are some really fun details included.  The centre sapphire is a rich blue while the two flanking sapphires have a soft green.  Laura has set these stones in two different styles, choosing a hexagonal form for the round brilliant cut stone. Plenty of texture has been kept on the outside of the setting while the band itself has a soft polish.  The carved texture contrasts to the classic form.

Ian’s ring is a timeless gold band. Both rings bear a special engraving and one half of the symbol of eternity so when the rings line up just right, the eternity symbol becomes complete.

Both rings are handcrafted using 100% reclaimed and recycled gold. To find out more about the sustainable approach used at Coral Covey, click here.

These rings come gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.

Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.

Thanks for your interest in Coral Covey. Let me know a little bit more about what you are looking for.

None of your personal data will be shared with a third party.

Thanks for your interest in my Ring Making Workshops. These are a really fun way to make your own wedding bands or make a ring for a friend.

For this particular workshop we need two half days of approx 3-4 hours. I will guide you both through what is possible, and then I assist you in carving the rings for each other.

– In the first class, we will meet at my workshop in The Nicholas Building and I will size you both and teach you both the art of wax carving the ring to the correct size.
– 2-3 weeks later, at the second meeting, you will learn to file and finish the rings together using classic jewellery techniques, tools and materials.
– You are not required to have any prior skills, materials or tools.
All of this is provided for you.

My price for the two half days is $790. Please note this is for both of you and that these are weekdays, however this does not cover the cost of the rings.

The price of the ring itself will be determined by three factors:
– material
– finger ring size
– band thickness
