Christie and Lynette, a mother and daughter living in different cities, came to Laura wanting to create something special. Rings that would keep them close, even from afar.
Their request was thoughtful and heartfelt: matching rings with subtle differences. A reflection of their bond—two hearts connected, yet beautifully distinct. During a video consultation, they shared stories of their relationship and the intention behind this gesture: a tangible reminder of each other, no matter the distance.
They imagined soft, natural hues—light pinks and whites—to be set in 18-carat rose gold. A colour palette that felt warm and sentimental, much like their relationship.
After their call, Laura sourced the perfect gemstones from her trusted Australian suppliers, sharing options via email for Christie and Lynette. The final selection included Australian light pink zircons and white sapphires, which were hand fossicked from Rubyvale, QLD, and Harts Range, NT, and artisanally hand cut.
Now, these special pieces serve as a daily reminder of each other. A promise of connection, no matter the distance between them.
This ring came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
