Abi's ring is a symbol of family like no other
Re-using family gemstones is a beautiful way to symbolise and honour family. Abi had a collection of precious stones that represented her family members, so Laura created a ring that brought all these elements together. This is an engagement ring that reflects new growth.
The textured wedding band was carved by Abi’s partner, Martin, with guidance from Laura in the Coral Covey studio.
Abi’s ring is 18-carat white gold with an heirloom diamond, an Alexandrite, a ruby, an aquamarine and a tiny Australian sapphire. The band is made from 100% recycled and refined 18-carat white gold. You can find out more about the importance of using recycled materials here.
This ring came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
