Megan first discovered Laura’s work at the BIG Design Market and has been a fan ever since. When she and Andrew got engaged, they visited Laura together, allowing them to be fully involved in the design process and create something perfect for Megan.
Megan knew she wanted an Australian free-form sapphire with an organic, fairy-inspired design. After viewing a selection of sapphires from Laura’s collection, she fell in love with a 1.86ct Australian parti sapphire, featuring a stunning blend of vibrant greens and yellows.
The sapphire was paired with another Australian pear-cut sapphire and an Australian champagne princess-cut diamond, all set in 100% recycled 18-carat yellow gold. The textured band, fern-engraved details, and gemstone choices gave the ring a magical, ethereal aesthetic that perfectly matched Megan’s vision.
As a surprise, Andrew reached out to Laura separately to request a hidden engraving inside the band. Reflecting their shared love of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, he asked for a heart pierced by a dagger—such a thoughtful detail that made the ring that even more special for Megan!
