Laura was delighted when Simon and Erika returned to her studio. You see, Laura had designed and handcrafted Erika's engagement ring and she felt privileged to be asked to create their wedding bands to match.
Whilst Laura chatted with Erika about her ideas for a wedding band, she found it difficult to decide which side of her engagement ring it should sit on. After Laura drew up a few sketches, Erika's decision became clear. Why have one wedding band when you can have two?! Laura has carefully carved each fine band to accommodate the unique setting she created to hold the stunning stones of her engagement ring. The bands are made with 100% recycled 18 carat rose gold.

Simon wanted an aspect in his wedding band that would mirror a small part of Erika's very ornate and decorative set of rings. So Laura set a tapered baguette cut Australian sapphire into the band, a small reflection to bind the two rings. Simon's ring was hand carved in 100% recycled and refined platinum. This classic ring form has a rounded inside edge for additional comfort.
These rings come gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
