Susie approached Laura with the intent of crafting a future family heirloom—a piece destined to journey through countless places and generations. As Susie prepared to relocate interstate from Melbourne, she sought a ring to symbolise this transformative chapter and accompany her on the upcoming adventure.
Susie picked out this stunning 0.74ct Free-form Australian Parti sapphire. This piece of rough was mined in central Queensland and artisanally precision cut into this unique Freeform shape. Laura then designed this piece around the sapphire, using her signature flat spot setting.
This Australian sapphire has been set into 100% recycled and refined 18-carat gold. You can find out more about the importance of using recycled materials here.
This ring came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal, as well as special care instructions.
