Like a sunny stroll through a lush forest on a warm day, this ring combines all the ‘good feels’. Choosing the right precious stone composition can be a daunting task. Thankfully, Max and Matilda were up for the challenge, and met with Laura to find the right mix of warm forest colours. With the varying cuts, colours and carats, there were many possibilities for this ring, but together they found the perfect fit, just like them.
The main stone is a unique free form Australian sapphire and is flanked by a trilliant and princess cut Australian sapphires. A free form cut is where the lapidarist (the person cutting the stone) is able to cut the sapphire in an organic way and does not conform to traditional, classic cuts. The stones were set into the 100% recycled and refined 18-carat yellow gold band using Laura’s signature organic claw setting. You can find out more about the importance of using recycled materials here.
This ring came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
