“We met many years ago while I was on a trip back home and to be honest, it really was love at first sight. I can still remember seeing her smile at me as I walked into the restaurant. She has the most incredible smile. The more time I spent with Han, the more I realised this was the person for me, until one day I thought, “What am I waiting for?”, so I started to design a special ring.
I found myself doing the things so many of my clients had told me about to get ideas of what she would like, such as: stealth ring sizing of her finger, random conversations about precious stones and engagement rings. Eventually I came to the realisation that Han was a traditionalist and just wanted a simple, single diamond on a white gold band. Easy, right?
Well, I had not made a ring like this since my stone-setting class during my undergraduate degree some 20 years earlier and I did not want to make a ring like every other traditional ring. After a lot of trial and error, I made this classic set ring with an organic hand made twist. A special ring for my favourite person.”
