Mark and Michele’s engagement ring is a meaningful reflection of their story, created to honour the joining of their families and their shared love of nature, connection and new beginnings.
Mark first reached out from Perth to organise everything in secret. Their initial consultation took place online via video chat with Laura, and the entire process was completed remotely, from the early design discussions to selecting the gemstones and finalising the finished piece. Both lovers of the outdoors and camping, Mark knew he wanted to create a ring that felt grounded in nature and crafted with intention.
This handmade ring was created using 100% recycled 18-carat rose gold and features four carefully chosen stones. At the centre sit two free-form Australian sapphires in beautiful green tones, both hand mined and cut in Australia. They are paired with two white diamonds, one on either side, for balance and brightness. All four stones are held in Laura’s signature organic claw setting, with subtle leaf details engraved on the claws tying the natural elements together.
Along the band are five hand engraved eucalyptus leaves, three on one side and two on the other, representing Mark and Michele’s five children. A beautiful nod to growth and two families coming together.
Inside the band is Michele’s chosen engraving, pour toujours, a simple reminder that this ring marks the beginning of forever. Congratulations Mark and Michele!

This ring came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.
Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
