Sadly, Mary’s ring was lost many years ago, and for several years she longed for a new one. It was only when Mary came across Laura’s work, that she knew this was the jeweller who should make this ring for her.
During their consultation, Mary discussed the possibility of creating a ring to represent three things: her family, nature and the future. The three beautiful Australian Sapphires were set in a band made of 100% recycled 14-carat rose gold. Depending on each sapphire’s unique cut, Laura created a setting to fit each individual stone. The round-cut sapphire was set with a four claw setting, the trilliant-cut was nestled in a three claw setting, and the stunning centrepiece oval-cut is set in a six claw setting, allowing the beauty of each stone to shine. Hand carved eucalyptus leaves were set into the band next to each outer stone – bringing a touch of nature to Mary’s ring. Family, nature and future are all such important aspects in this ring and each shine through in their own way.
