When Beck and Dan approached Laura to create this engagement ring, they brought with them special family heirlooms. Using diamonds from Dan’s grandmother and great-grandmother’s rings and a sapphire chosen by Beck, Laura was able to create this new ring, so that Beck will always have a special piece of family history at her side.
In the centre of the ring is a stunning round-brilliant-cut Australian parti sapphire. An Australian parti sapphire is an incredibly unique stone, as a parti stone has two or three colours present in the one stone – blues, greens and yellows. This unique quality means that the stone is 100% natural, as this cannot be manufactured artificially, and no two stones are ever the same. The central stone is flanked by the beautiful heirloom diamonds salvaged from Dan’s grandmother and great-grandmother’s rings, and all stones are set using Laura’s signature organic claw setting. The ring is made from 100% recycled and refined 18-carat white gold ring without rhodium plating. Now, everyday Beck can look down at her ring and think of the unity of her family with Dan’s.
