Sometimes something beautiful can come from loss

Laura designed this colourful engagement ring and wedding band for Alison after her original rings were sadly stolen. Laura was able to salvage the brilliant pink sapphire and the diamonds from Alison’s existing jewellery to use in her new ring. The stones are set using Laura’s Organic Claw Setting style in 14-carat rose gold. The wedding band is also 14-carat rose gold, and they are both finished with a soft polish. It was a delight for Laura to create something new and special for Alison after the loss of her original rings. Salvaging precious stones and material from older items is always a lovely way to see items revived. Something new can come from loss!

These rings came gift packaged in a wooden box made by the New Zealand team at GIVE. These guys make special bespoke wooden jewellery boxes for Coral Covey from sustainable forest woods with care, quality and workmanship.

Laura also includes an authenticity certificate with every ring, detailing the carat and quality of the precious stones and metal as well as special care instructions.
